I have read the e-book version from Chartio's website that is free by providing your business email.
A 27-page book that describes what charts to use for the different situations. The book also comes with 3 appendices with tips on using different chart types to visualise data. It is essentially a "chart chooser" or "visual vocabulary" with a more detailed write-up on the charts.
Things I like
1. It is free. The e-book in PDF is free and legally available for all to read by downloading from the Chartio website.
2. It is a book suitable for all visualisation tool users. It gives an overview of many charts and on when and how to use them, including some additional food for thought for readers when they choose their charts in the future.
Final Verdict: A good addition to the notebook of a person who is looking to know more about chart types.
